Signed on the base "Le verre français". H. Height : 21 cm Slight firing bubbles on the pedestal. Charles Schneider (1881-1953) was a renowned French master glassmaker and founder, with his brother Ernest, of the Schneider company. After working for Daum in Nancy, he set up his own glassworks in Épinay-sur-Seine in 1913. His pieces, often blown and decorated with acid, are recognizable by their stylized floral and geometric motifs.
