THAILAND, in the style of the Sukhothai period, 20th century Bronze statue with green patina depicting the standing Buddha in abhayamudrā (gesture of fearlessness), dressed in a simple body-molding sanghati. The supple modeling and slender proportions are characteristic of Sukhothai art. Sculpture mounted on a modern wooden base. Old patina, wear and tear, oxidation. Height: 27 cm TIBET, 20th century Brown bronze statuette representing a seated bodhisattva in padmāsana, hands forming the teaching gesture (vitarkamudrā), holding a vajra. The head is crowned with a five-pointed diadem and surrounded by a bun. Style inspired by classical Himalayan models. Good condition. Height : 14 cm Expert : Jean Gauchet
