INDIA, first half of the 20th century Carved polychrome wood relief depicting Krishna and Radha. Carved wood sculpture in high relief, depicting Krishna playing the flute, in tribhanga posture, accompanied by Radha. The ensemble is richly adorned with necklaces, belts and ornaments, under an architectural canopy decorated with makara heads. Remains of old polychromy.
