TIBET, late 19th-early 20th century Large radong ritual trumpet in embossed and engraved copper, richly decorated in high relief with kaelic masks, stylized dragons and floral motifs. Used in Buddhist monasteries for religious ceremonies, this piece was transformed into a floor lamp at a later date. A fine monastic work, combining ritual function and elaborate ornamentation.
