Large picchavai (pichhwai) painted on cotton, depicting a sumptuous court procession with caparisoned elephants, princely chariots, musicians and dancers, against a background of stylized vegetation and starry skies. Typical of the great votive hangings of Rajasthan, this panel was intended to adorn a wall during festivities or for decorative purposes. Painted floral border. Traces of folding, stains and slight wear.

Thangka painted in tempera on canvas, depicting a central blue-skinned deity (probably Vajradhara or Akshobhya) surrounded by numerous secondary figures from the Buddhist lineage or pantheon. Composition organized in concentric registers, framed by stylized clouds. Traditional mounting in purple and golden yellow silk brocade. Visible wear, rubbing and missing paint. Slight tears at corners.
