Ancient Egypt - Late Period (Dynasty XXVI - XXX, c. 664-332 BC)
Ushebti in blue-green siliceous earthenware, featuring a mummiform figure wearing a tripartite wig, arms crossed over the chest holding two hoes. A vertical hieroglyphic inscription appears on the front of the body, probably evoking a formula from chapter 6 of the Book of the Dead.
Height: 14 cm
(Remains of glaze, wear and traces of concretions visible at the base. Broken horizontally and glued back in the middle).
Enclosed: Magna Graecia (probably Apulia), 4th century B.C.

Red-figured ceramic skyphos with two horizontal handles and ring foot, decorated with a stylized female or Dionysian mask. Ornamental band under the lip.
