Ivar Ålenius Björk Pair of "Tatlin" vases, Skultuna. Brass. Second half of the 20th century. Dimensions: 31 cm x 8 cm. Made in brass by the famous Swedish manufacturer Skultuna, these vases with the evocative name "Tatlin" pay homage to sculptural modernity and constructivist design. Ivar Ålenius Björk, also known for his famous "Lily" candlesticks, demonstrates here another facet of his artistic language, blending volume and elegance. These pieces recall the avant-garde aspirations of the early twentieth century, embodied in particular by the unfinished tower by Russian artist Vladimir Tatlin. The brass work, fluid and rigorous, reflects both the light and the heritage of Scandinavian design. CR: These vases are in good condition, but some marks require light cleaning.
