Size: 10 × 8.5 cm Perfect condition. Bertil Vallien is one of the leading figures of 20th-century Scandinavian glass design. Trained at the Boda/Åfors studio, he developed a unique plastic language, combining formal simplicity and chromatic richness. Christer Sjögren, who works for the Lindshammar glassworks, follows in the same tradition of Swedish glass design, favoring pure forms and bold colors, characteristic of the Nordic modernism of the twentieth century. Gathered here, these two vases illustrate the refinement and elegance of post-war Scandinavian glass, with sculptural lines and deep hues.
