Dimensions: 21 × 29 cm, (dimensions with frame, 35.5 × 42.5 cm) Robert Högfeldt (1894-1986) was a Swedish painter and illustrator of Estonian origin, famous for his humorous scenes with trolls and fantastic creatures. His satirical, whimsical style left its mark on the Scandinavian imagination of the 20th century. In this composition, entitled Kattvurpan (literally "the fall of the cat"), Robert Högfeldt delivers a humorous and expressive scene, true to his characteristic style.
